low a Kiss – Hunter 2019

Diamond dusted peachy pink with a strawberry band and edge. The edge is lined with iridescent gold. BLOW A KISS won ‘best seedling’ at one of my daylily club’s annual flower shows. When our president saw her blooming later in my garden, he said, “So, you’re going to register this one, right?” I said I wasn’t because it didn’t rebloom, which is my main hybridizing goal. He rolled his eyes. “They don’t ALL have to rebloom!”

BLOW A KISS does occasionally show instant rebloom, and has given me reblooming seedlings when I have crossed her with another rebloomer. The genetics are in there because of Belle of Ashwood. The shiny gold edge also is often passed to the offspring. BAK has 3-4 way branching, is a cool morning opener, and is pod and pollen fertile.
