Prairie’s Edge is inspected by the state annually. I am a small, ‘one-woman show’, therefore quantities are limited. You will receive bare root generous double fans, freshly dug, trimmed, and washed, and sent by USPS priority mail. I often send more than a double fan, depending on how vigorous the cultivar is. If you are not pleased with the quality of the plants when you open the package, please let me know immediately, and return them for a full refund.
Weather permitting, shipping begins in May, runs through June, and resumes again in early September when it has cooled off. Please indicate on the order form if you have a preferred shipping date. Once payment has cleared, I will endeavor to ship at your requested date. Cost for shipping is $12 for the first plant, and $2 for each additional one.
Visitors are welcome during the bloom season (peak is usually mid July), but please make an appointment since I have seedling patches on both sides of town to tend to. If you prefer to pick up your plants rather than have them shipped, we can agree on a mutually convenient time to share a walk through the gardens and a glass of lemonade!
