Man Enough To Wear Pink – Hunter 2024
This guy is a beautiful rose pink with a cream watermark that fades to light lavender. The throat is green, transitioning to greenish-yellow before reaching the watermark. A triple edge of light lavender, cream, and greenish yellow matches the transition in the throat. Full form blooms are very consistent, perfect every time, with good substance.
This is a plant that a more experienced hybridizer stopped at when visiting my seedling patch. I hadn’t even noticed it previously, but he saw that it had potential. Three years later, I had to agree. I’ve crossed it with UFs and rebloomers, hoping to combine all of those characteristics on one awesome plant. The fact that the MAN is easily fertile both ways keeps me motivated! Full sibling to ‘Ginny Pea’s Pick’.
