Full sibling to YOU’LL BE SWELL, YOU’LL BE GREAT is very showy in a clump. She is raspberry red with a green heart and gold throat. (2023 NOTE: Similar to her sibling, her color varies with the soil conditions, with clay soil giving a more saturated color) The tightly ruffled petals are slightly ridged and have a ripply gold edge. She has great substance, like her sister and mom.
Dormant and northern hardy, YBG has survived all the nasty weather that’s been thrown at us here since she was put in the ground in 2011. Though not registered as a rebloomer, she can be encouraged with fertilizing and watering. YOU’LL BE GREAT is a vigorous grower and is pod and pollen fertile.
